Wayne Rooney: Question marks raised over England future

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has declared Jose Mourinho as “one of the best managers in the world” and believes “exciting times” lay head.

Months of speculation finally came to an end last Friday, with the former Chelsea boss signing a three-year deal at Old Trafford following Louis van Gaal’s wholly-expected sacking.

Mourinho’s arrival has been welcomed by many connected to the club and captain Rooney has joined the chorus of those backing the appointment.

“It’s exciting – one of the best managers in the world,” the 30-year-old said.

“Obviously he knows the Premier League really well and for myself, and I am sure for the other Manchester United players, it’s exciting times. I am looking forward to it.”

its an absolute disgrace the way United have treated Giggs but guess what Mourinho will have limited success, his success is based on purchasing top players and there are not that many around so what else can he do besides blaming the whole world when they start losing games.
