Rosler plays down United form

Leeds have drawn two and lost two of their fixtures but Rosler says he should be judged purely on where his team finish the Championship season at the end of May.

“We have been working on more football-specific fitness, around roles and responsibilities for certain positions,” he told the official Leeds website.

“We’re preparing for 10 months. The Burnley game is a very important one but it’s not our last game.

“We have to understand that we have to be where we want to be in May 2016.”

Leeds have their final pre-season friendly this weekend, hosting Everton at Elland Road, before beginning their 2015/16 Championship campaign on home soil against recently relegated Burnley on August 8.
