Royals destroyed by visiting Palace

Neil Warnock’s players have not been paid for November yet but showed no sign of unrest in a solid display at the Madejski Stadium in a win which leaves the Royals in trouble.

Warnock admitted this week that his whole squad is available at the right price and saw three of his most bankable assets in Nathaniel Clyne, Darren Ambrose and the magnificent Moses find the target to give the Eagles victory.

Alex Pearce had headed Brendan Rodgers’ Reading side deservedly level on the half-hour mark, but from then on Moses inspired Palace to take a lead which was briefly halved late on by substitute Gylfi Sigurdsson penalty, before Moses saved the best until last with a fine fourth.
