Check out all the Opta stats from Saturday’s Premier League action, with Riyad Mahrez becoming the first player to reach double figures for both goals and assists.

Manchester City 1-3 Leicester City

Robert Huth has scored more goals in his last five Premier League appearances (3) as he had in his previous 86 in the competition (2).

This was only the second time in his Premier League career that he’s scored more than once in a game, with the German last scoring a brace in Feb 2011 for Stoke v Sunderland.

Riyad Mahrez (14 goals, 10 assists) became the first player to reach double figures in terms of both goals and assists in the Premier League this season.

Mahrez ended a personal Premier League goal drought of 11 hours & two minutes with his strike in this match.

Manchester City have not beaten any side currently in the top six of Premier League table this season (W0 D3 L4).

Man City have lost as many Premier League home games this season (3) as they had in 2014-15 and 2013-14 combined under Manuel Pellegrini (3).

Leicester City have lost just one of their last 16 Premier League away games (W10 D5 L1).

The Foxes have won the same number of points away from home in the Premier League this season (28) as Manchester City have won at home (28).

Sergio Aguero netted his first Premier League goal against Leicester and as a result he’s now scored against 26 of the 28 different opposition sides he’s faced in the competition (Bolton & Burnley the exceptions).

Aston Villa 2-0 Norwich City

Gabriel Agbonlahor has now scored in 11 successive Premier League seasons for Aston Villa.

Agbonlahor has been involved in seven goals in seven Premier League fixtures against Norwich (four goals and three assists).

Remi Garde’s side scored their first first-half goal in the Premier League since December versus Southampton, which was also scored by Joleon Lescott.

Norwich City are the only Premier League side yet to keep a clean sheet on the road this season.

Aston Villa are unbeaten in four home league games (W2 D2) for the first time since January 2015 (a run of five games).

Norwich are winless in their last seven competitive away games against Aston Villa (D3 L4).

The Villans have won two of their three PL home games in 2016 so far; they won three of 19 at Villa Park in the Premier League throughout the entirety of 2015.

Norwich City have won just one of their last 12 Premier League away games (W1 D2 L9).

 

Liverpool 2-2 Sunderland

Jermain Defoe has scored six goals in his last six Premier League appearances for Sunderland.

Only Sergio Aguero (7) has scored more Premier League goals in 2016 than Jermain Defoe (6).

Roberto Firminho has been involved in more goals than any other Liverpool player this season (11, six goals and five assists).

Firmino has been involved in seven goals in his last five Premier League games for the Reds (five goals, two assists).

James Milner recorded his third assist in his last five Premier League games. No Premier League player has more in 2016 than him (level with Adam Johnson and RiyadMahrez).

Sunderland have now gone 11 Premier League games without a clean sheet, longer than any other side currently.

Adam Lallana has scored in two of his last three Premier League games, after not scoring in his previous 19 apps in the competition.

Sunderland extended their run of scoring in eight consecutive Premier League away games.

Adam Johnson has scored or assisted in four of his last six Premier League games (one goal, three assists).

Newcastle United 1-0 West Bromwich Albion

Newcastle have won back-to-back games at home in the Premier League for the first time since December 2014.

West Brom have won none of their last seven Premier League away trips (W0 D3 L4).

Jonjo Shelvey has recorded as many assists in his four Premier League games with Newcastle as he did in 16 with Swansea this season (two for each side in 20 PL games).

Newcastle ended a run of nine Premier League games without a clean sheet. It was their first clean sheet in the competition since the start of December.

West Brom have won just one of their 10 away trips to St James’ Park in the Premier League (D2 L7).

The Baggies have failed to score in three of their last four games in the Premier League.

Newcastle attempted more shots in this match (19, incl. blocked) than they did in their last two Premier League games combined (18, incl. blocked).

 

Stoke City 0-3 Everton

Everton have won three penalties in their last two games after winning none in their opening 23 games of the season.

Romelu Lukaku has scored 16 Premier League goals this season, the joint-most by an Everton player in a single season along with Tony Cottee in 1993/94.

Seamus Coleman scored his first Premier League goal since March 2015 and ended a run of 27 PL appearances without a goal.

Stoke conceded three goals in the first half of a Premier League game for the first time since December 2012 v Southampton.

Everton scored three first half goals in an away Premier League game for the ninth time and for the first time since August 2012 against Aston Villa.

Aaron Lennon scored in three successive games (all comps) for the first time in his career.

Joel Robles has kept a clean sheet in his last five consecutive Premier League games for Everton.

Stoke have failed to score in four consecutive Premier League games for the first time and their worst run in the top-flight since March 1985 (eight games).

Stoke have won a league-low one point in games that they have conceded the first goal in this season (11 games, W0 D1 L10).

 

Swansea 1-1 Crystal Palace

Gylfi Sigurdsson has scored five goals in his last six Premier League appearances for Swansea.

Since his debut in January 2012, only Christian Eriksen (6) has scored more free kick goals in the Premier League than Sigurdsson (5).

Scott Dann has scored five Premier League goals in 2015/16 – this after having scored six in 125 PL games before this season.

Dann’s goal was the eighth by a Crystal Palace defender in the league this season, more than any other team.

Palace scored in an away Premier League game for the first time since December 2015 against Stoke, ending a run of 319 minutes without a goal on the road in the competition.

Crystal Palace became the final team in the top four tiers of English football to register a league point in 2016.

The Swans have netted 58% of their goals in the first half of games this season, the highest proportion in the top flight.

 Kieran Tripper Tottenham v Watford

Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Watford

Spurs have had a league-high 72 shots (incl. blocked) in the first half of games in 2016 so far but they have scored with just four of those.

Kieran Trippier bagged his first Premier League goal in his 43rd appearance in the competition and his first competitive goal since New Years’ Day 2014 for Burnley against Huddersfield.

Dele Alli assisted Trippier’s goal just 176 seconds after entering the field of play.

Alli has had a hand in 11 goals in his last 14 Premier League games for Spurs (six goals, five assists).

Watford have failed to win any of their last nine games against Spurs in all competitions (W0 D2 L7).

Spurs had 26 shots (inc blocked), their joint-most in a Premier League game this season – level with their tally against Sunderland at home in January.

The Hornets have failed to score in four of their last five Premier League games.

Watford have mustered just one shot on target in their two Premier League games against Spurs in 2015-16.
