Roy Hodgson: Feels better for break

The 29-year-old left back will rejoin the club he left in 2010 when his current contract with Leyton Orient ends in June.

Sawyer, who has agreed a one-year deal, told the club’s Twitter account: “This has been the one club I’ve always kept close to my heart.”

Sawyer signed his first professional deal with the club in 2002 and went on to make 106 appearances for Argyle.

Since then he has spent time at Bristol Rovers and Orient, who he made 18 appearances for last season.
