Development squad players Kyle Callan-McFadden and Sam Kelly are also set to leave Carrow Road along with striker Luciano Becchio, who has had his contract ended by mutual consent.

Norwich City manager Alex Neil said: “It’s important to register their efforts and support to the club this year, when at times it was frustrating for them personally that they weren’t playing and involved. But they’re all good lads and we wish them all the best for the future.”

The Canaries, who sealed promotion to the Premier League by beating Middlesbrough in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final on Monday, have already started rebuilding by signing Graham Dorrans on a two-year deal following a successful loan spell with the club from West Brom.
