Tottenham have been handed a boost in their pursuit of a Sporting Lisbon star, according to reports.
Portuguese paper Record states that Sporting are willing to let Spurs target Adrien Silva depart for less than his €45m release clause.
Reports claim that Spurs have already made an offer of €20m, but it has not impressed Sporting Lisbon president Bruno de Carvalho, who feels it is far from enough.
However, Record state that Sporting are willing to accept a bid of €30million, should the North London club wish to raise their bid.
The Liga NOS club are ready to let their captain depart this summer after making additions to their midfield early in the window.
Silva, who is under contract with Sporting until 2020, is currently at the Confederations Cup with Portugal.
There is the belief that should a deal be tied up quickly, he will not return to the club at all.
