Moussa Dembele: Happy at Celtic

Tottenham made a summer enquiry about Celtic star Moussa Dembele, according to a report.

Spurs reportedly asked after the former Fulham striker as a possible back-up to Harry Kane, Yahoo Sports claim.

Dembele is also a reported target for Real Madrid, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City.

The report states that while Spurs had concrete interest in the player, no offer was submitted for the 20-year-old.

Dembele rose to stardom last year, scoring a hat-trick in a 5-1 mauling of Rangers and bagging 19 goals in 36 games.

Real Madrid and Barcelona sent scouts to watch him last season, with Celtic set to face Barca in the Champions League this season.

The French star has missed the start of the season due to injury, but revealed through social media that he is set for an imminent return.

“The light isn’t far away! #Dembelition.” he posted online, adding “soon I’ll be back.”
