Eddie Howe said Tottenham were the best side Bournemouth have played this season after a 3-0 defeat for his side at White Hart Lane.
Harry Kane scored twice at White Hart Lane, the first after 44 seconds, and then set up a third as Christian Eriksen completed a comfortable victory.
Bournemouth’s run of three consecutive wins comes to an end, but the Cherries have all but guaranteed their survival, sitting 13th, 12 points above the relegation zone.
This, however, was the second time this season Eddie Howe’s side have been on the end of a Spurs drubbing after Kane scored a hat-trick in a 5-1 win at Dean Court in October.
“We didn’t play well today,” Howe said. “They moved the ball so well – we didn’t execute our game plan at all – so we have to give them credit.
“In the two games they’ve been the best team we’ve played this season.
“They’ve been excellent against us. It hasn’t helped we haven’t hit our levels in either game but there’s a lot we can take from them.
“They work so hard and have such quality with the ball. We aspire to be like them one day.”
