St Mirren manager Danny Lennon hopes Paul McQuade will be able to make his first appearance of the season.
The striker has missed all the previous SPL matches with a calf tear but is back in training and could play a part, while Paul McGowan returns from suspension.
However, Steven Thomson has been told he faces up to six weeks on the sidelines with a torn calf.
Inverness midfielder Lee Cox will miss out after suffering a leg injury during the cup defeat at Celtic in midweek.
The former Leicester player has his leg in plaster after his fibula was damaged by a heavy tackle from Ki Sung-yeung in the 6-0 loss, and he is facing six weeks on the sidelines.
Kenny Gillet, Dani Sanchez (both knee), Kevin McCann (groin) and Chris Innes (hamstring) remain on the sidelines but Gil Blumenshtein is back in the squad.
