Michael Higdon returns from suspension for St Mirren.

The Saints striker missed the last game against Hamilton a fortnight ago after being sent off in the previous game against Motherwell.

Manager Danny Lennon believes one plus point from the recent adverse weather which caused the postponement of all last week’s SPL games is that recently-injured David Barron, Stevie Thomson, Stevie Robb and Paul Gallacher have all been able to improve their fitness.

Jamie Adams is suspended for St Johnstone.

Adams sits out for the first of a two-match suspension, but Dave Mackay and Peter MacDonald return to the squad after missing the 0-0 draw at Hibernian.

Scott Dobie missed the Hibs match with a knee injury, while Graeme Smith, Kevin Moon, Graham Gartland and Martin Hardie remain on the sidelines.
