Dele Alli ‘guaranteed’ move to Man Utd or Real by would-be agents

Dele Alli has been told he can join Manchester United or Real Madrid in the future if he signs up with one of the super-agents vowing to represent him, a report has claimed.

The Tottenham midfielder recently announced he had split with long-term representatives Impact Sports Management, with the player currently seeking a new person or company to manage his affairs.

And, according the Sunday Mirror, super-agents Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola are among those clambering to represent the England midfielder – and have staked their claims by vowing to secure Alli a move to one of the world’s biggest clubs.

Raiola, who oversaw the transfers of Romelu Lukaku, Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic  to Old Trafford, has reportedly promised Alli a similar move in the future if he signs up with him.

Jose Mourinho’s and Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Mendes, meanwhile, is also making similar promises to Alli with Madrid another destination mentioned.

Alli joined Tottenham in a bargain £5million deal from MK Dons in 2015 and has never shown any indication he wants to leave the club.

The midfielder, 21, signed a new deal at Tottenham last year and reports have indicted he could soon sign another improved deal in light of his ongoing improvement.

Discussing his future back in May, Alli insisted he was happy with Spurs, but would offer no guarantees over his future.

“We all want to achieve stuff,” Alli said in a Sky Sports interview.

“It’s a good place to be, and with the manager we’ve got here I can’t see many better places for me personally to improve.

“It’s a fantastic club to be a part of. We’re all looking to learn together and build together and be as successful as we can.

“You never say what’s going to happen in the future, no-one knows, no-one can predict it.

“For me, it’s important that I enjoy the journey – whether I stay at Tottenham for the rest of my career or one day I have to leave and it’s the right thing for me to do.”
