The home side piled on the pressure in the opening 20 minutes but then allowed the visitors to break away and a Marvin Williams corner was headed into the net by Yeovil skipper Terry Skiverton.

Swansea went further behind in the 60th minute when Aiden Downes was left unmarked and lashed the ball into the back of the net from fully 25 yards.

Substitute Paul Anderson livened it up for the lacklustre Swans and it was from his corner in the 78th minute that Andy Robinson pulled one goal back.

There was still time for Antony Barry to miss an open goal for the visitors and for Swansea’s Darren Pratley to be sent off in the 90th minute.
