Lille have completed the permanent signing of Swansea’s Eder on a four-year contract following the striker’s successful loan spell with the Ligue 1 club.

The 28-year-old, who moved to France in the January transfer window just six months after arriving from Braga for £5million, scored six goals in 13 matches while on loan.

“His signing is good for the present and the future of the Lille,” coach Frederic Antonetti told losc.fr.

“We learned to know and appreciate Eder and am very happy he now belongs to the club.

“He is a centre-forward who did a lot of good in our offence, a warrior, and we needed this profile.”

Eder failed to score in 13 appearances for Swansea, only two of which were Premier League starts
