The 19-year-old will link up with the club’s Under-21 squad ahead of the new season after signing a three-year contract.

He made 20 appearances for Bradford’s first-team during his time at Valley Parade, while he also scored five goals in 14 appearances while on loan at Chester last season.

He told www.swanseacity.net: “I’m really excited about getting started. I’ve known about the interest for a little while now but it all got finalised pretty quickly and the hard work starts now.

“I’m thankful for everything that Bradford has done for me, but when a club like Swansea comes in for you then you can’t say no.”

The 6ft 2in striker scored five goals to help Manchester United’s U18 squad win the Milk Cup in the summer of 2012.

He has scored more than 50 times in the last two seasons at youth level and says he hopes to continue his development with the Swans’ U21 side.

“It’s the perfect opportunity for me and the right time to sign,” he said. “Hopefully I can have a good start for the U21s and continue to learn and develop during my time here.

“Swansea are now playing Category One games and they are the best fixtures in the country.

“You want to challenge yourself against the best players and I’m really looking forward to getting started.”
