Gent striker Laurent Depoitre is being scouted by Tottenham, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Everton, West Brom and Southampton according to the Daily Mirror.
Depoitre has only 16 months left on his contract at Gent and looks certain to move in the summer having recently turned down the offer of a new deal with the Belgian club.
The 27-year-old is expected to be available for around £12million and was apparently watched by representatives of seven Premier League clubs in Gent’s 3-2 defeat to Wolfsburg in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Depoitre did not score in that game but has notched 13 goals in 38 appearances so far this season, with the Belgian press claiming last week that Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Stoke City, Aston Villa and Sunderland were also planning to watch him in action.
Spurs’ interest is said to be the strongest, but Mauricio Pochettino is also interested in Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi and Basel’s Breel Embolo, the Daily Mirror adds.
