Calvin Tshilumba: Spurs target

Tottenham have made an offer for young Stade Lavallois striker Calvin Tshilumba, according to a report from France.

The 17-year-old starlet only made his professional debut for Stade Lavallois in last Friday’s Coupe de France defeat at Avranches.

L’Equipe report Spurs have put together a “proposal” for the youngster, who is also attracting interest throughout Europe.

The France Under-17 international would join Mauricio Pochettino’s development squad if any deal was sealed.

Tshilumba, who has accumulated two France Under-17 caps as well as 14 caps for his country at Under-16s level, plays as a striker for club and country.

He played the last nine minutes of Laval’s cup clash last Friday after being introduced as a late substitute in his side’s 3-1 defeat.

Pochettino only has two senior strikers in his Spurs squad, with Harry Kane and Vincent Janssen, and he is keen to mould a forward that can reach the first team in the next few years.
