Tottenham will be without midfield duo Ryan Mason and Mousa Dembele for Sunday’s FA Cup third-round clash with Leicester.
Mauricio Pochettino is expected to rotate his side for the match at White Hart Lane but Mason and Dembele will both miss out with ankle injuries while Clinton N’jie is also sidelined with a knee problem.
Alex Pritchard is close to resuming training after four months out with an ankle injury but the winger is short of match fitness and will not be ready this weekend.
Meanwhile, new signing Demarai Gray could make his Leicester debut in the third round tie.
As he did in the League Cup this season, Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri will again make wholesale changes to his team and teenage winger Gray, who this week joined the club from Birmingham, is in contention to feature.
Leading scorer Jamie Vardy will sit out the third-round tie after undergoing a minor groin operation but he could be back when Leicester return to north London next week in the Premier League.
Jeff Schlupp (hamstring) and Matty James (knee) should return from injury towards the end of this month.
