Trabzonspor are reportedly ready set to bid 1.5million euros to make Marko Marin’s loan spell from Chelsea into a permanent deal.
German winger Marin has become something of a forgotten figure at Stamford Bridge and is currently embarking on his fourth different season-long loan since joining Chelsea on a five-year deal in the summer of 2012 from Werder Bremen.
Despite only featuring in a handful of games for his new employers, Marin has quickly impressed in his new surroundings in Turkey after previous loan stints at Sevilla, Fiorentina and Anderlecht failed to lead to permanent transfers.
But the Trabzonspor management has taken notice of the Chelsea outcast and reports in Turkey suggest they are ready to make an initial cut-price 1.5million euros bid for the playmaker.
Chelsea paid Werder 8million euros for his services, but in four years at Stamford Bridge, Marin has made just six appearances for the club and could be willing to allow the move permanent when the transfer window reopens in January.
