Arda Turan has revealed Barcelona rejected “some serious loan offers” this summer, with Liverpool and Tottenham both reportedly left frustrated.
Turan joined the European champions in a £24million move from Atletico Madrid over the summer, but is being forced to wait before launching his career at the Nou Camp due to the club’s transfer embargo.

The Daily Express claims those approaches came from Liverpool and Tottenham.
“I had some serious loan offers but the boss wanted me to stay and train for four months to adapt to the Barcelona way,” Turan told Turkish newspaper Akşam.
