Turkish media claim Chicharito is set for cut-price loan move

Besiktas are growing increasingly confident they can strike a deal to take Javier Hernandez on loan – and pay the Hammers a fee of just £1.8m for the privilege.

That’s according to Turkish newspaper Gunes, who according to a translation from Sport Witness, see the Mexican as a replacement for Cenk Tosun, who has joined Everton for £27m in January.

According to the report, Besiktas have been in ‘constant contact’ with West Ham about the Mexican, who is looking to leave the London Stadium after a frustrating six-month spell.

A £18million capture by Slaven Bilic, the player is clearly not fancied by David Moyes, who rarely played him during his season in charge of Manchester United.
