Ashley Young: On the move?

Manchester United star Ashley Young has insisted he will listen to offers if any club come in for him.

The 32-year-old struggled for game time last season but has had a resurgence this campaign, making regular appearances at left-back, before being switched to his favoured wing position in United’s 0-0 draw with Liverpool on Saturday.

Young was reportedly the subject of a number of offers from China this year but decided to stay at Old Trafford and fight for a first-team place.

However, he has now admitted that if other clubs were interested in him he would be prepared to entertain offers.

“Wherever the manager asks me to go and play, I give 100% percent as soon as I put on that United shirt,” said Young.

“I have been playing games and that is what the focus is on – playing well and doing well for the team. ‘If any offers come then the club will come and speak to me.”

Young is expected to be rested for the Red Devils’ trip to Lisbon to face Benfica, but will likely return for their trip to Huddersfield on Saturday.
