The Angola international was Charlton’s leading scorer in last season’s Championship with 11 goals and was on the mark in Tuesday’s Capital One Cup win over Peterborough after returning from Achilles and groin problems.
“It’s a great feeling to be back on the pitch finally,” he told the official Addicks website. “I’ve had a lot of problems with my injuries over the summer and I’ve had to work very hard to come back.
“I came back from my Achilles injury but then I had a small inflammation around my groin. It’s almost gone now and I’m feeling ready now to play games again.
“We need to build it up now and hopefully not get another injury.
“I’m eager to play this weekend against Wolves, but we need to take it calm, not speed it up fast, so I’m going to speak about the minutes that I can play with the medical team.”
