Harry Redknapp presided over an 8-0 victory in his first game in charge of Jordan, but his post-match interview was the highlight of his first game.

Redknapp made a successful debut as Bangladesh were swept aside in Group B of Asian qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.
It was a superb start to life in the Middle East, but afterwards Redknapp was approached by an Arabic-speaking reporter and that is when the problems started.
It is clearly evident that Redknapp’s Arabic is not up to scratch, while the reporter’s grasp of English is also negligible.
The reporter welcomes Redknapp, only for the former Spurs boss to in turn welcome him back. He then switches into ‘foreigner abroad’ mode and starts speaking slowly and loudly, but also in pidgin English.
