Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed the Manchester United man he fears the most ahead of Saturday’s Old Trafford showdown.
Rashford scored twice on his Premier League debut to help Manchester United to a 3-2 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford last February and Wenger is concerned about trying to keep a lid on the England youngster.
Wenger was asked about Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is missing through suspension, but he turned his focus to Rashford.
“Lets not forget that last year, the guy who killed us was Rashford,” said Wenger.
The Gunners boss was predictably asked about his relationship with United boss Jose Mourinho, but Wenger was reluctant to go into depth about their previous bust-ups.
“I don’t think I have to describe our relationship,” he added. “He fights for his team, I fight for mine.
“You do not play against a manager, you play against a team. That’s the important thing.”
Wenger was asked whether he will shake Mourinho’s hand at Old Trafford.
“Of course, I respect the ritual that is so important in the Premier League,” he added.
