Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro is poised for a move to Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon, sources have told TEAMtalk.com.
Sporting are understood to have agreed a fee with QPR to sign the Brazilian and the player has been given permission to travel to Portugal for talks.
Sandro, 27, ended last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion after joining the Baggies during the January transfer window as QPR looked to get him off the wage bill
The all-action midfielder made 13 appearances in all competitions for West Brom this season and it was expected he would make the move permanent to the Hawthorns this summer.
However, Sporting Lisbon, who finished second in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, have moved quickly to try and lure Sandro to Portugal.
QPR are willing to offload Sandro on a permanent basis as they look to trim their squad and wage bill and the player is not thought to be interested in returning to play in the Championship next season.
