West Ham are reportedly ready to launch a massive €80m bid for Real Madrid superstar James Rodriguez, beating Chelsea and Man United to his signature.
The Colombian international is a Champions League winner with Real Madrid, but he has often found himself out of favour at the Bernabeu with Rafael Benitez and Zinedane Zidane opting to bench the 25-year-old quite frequently.
According to Marca, the latter is willing to cash-in on Rodriguez due to questions over his ‘mental and psychological commitment’, and the Hammers have been linked with a sensational swoop as a result.
The Express add that Rodriguez is supposedly open to a move to the Premier League this summer, especially if the transfer would guarantee him more first-team football.
