Jack Wilshere has taken to Instagram to reveal his thoughts about his loan move from Arsenal to fellow Premier League side Bournemouth.
The Cherries pulled off a major coup on transfer deadline day by securing the services of the England internation for the 2016/17 campaign.
The 24-year-old had offers from Roma, AC Milan and Crystal Palace to consider before opting to join Eddie Howe’s side on the south coast and he believes that he has picked the right club to help him re-build his career by playing regular first-team football.
I’m delighted to have joined @officialafcb on a season long loan and would like to thank everyone at the club for making me feel so welcome. I had a good chat with the manager and feel sure that this is the best place for me to play and develop this season. I am looking forward to working hard every day with the coaching staff and my new teammates to help the club achieve success on the pitch. Thanks for all of your support as always.
Eddie Howe has previously described Wilshere as the “missing piece of the jigsaw” and revealed that Wilshere’s best friend Benik Afobe played a part in bringing the midfielder to the club.
