Wolves have signed defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh from Eintracht Braunschweig on a three-year-deal.

Ofosu-Ayeh, 25, will officially join Wolves on July 1 when his contract with the German club expires.

“For me it was always a dream to play in England,” Ofosu-Ayeh told Wolves’ official website.

“Now I’ve seen everything here, I know that it’s a very big club and a traditional club. I’m very happy that I have the chance to play here.

“I’m very excited about everything – the club, the fans and my team-mates, so I’m ready for my journey here.”

The German-born Ghanaian right-back began his career at SV Wilhelmshaven and had spells at FC Rot-Weiss Erfurt, MSV Duisburg 33 and VfR Aalen before joining Braunschweig in May 2015.
