Yaya Toure’s agent claims the midfielder will leave Manchester City this summer unless a new contract is agreed next week.
The Ivory Coast midfielder, who signed for City for £24million from Barcelona in the summer of 2010, has just a year left to run on his current four-year contract.
His agent Dimitri Seluk recently claimed he turned down the prospect of a move to China with Jiangsu Suning on a deal with a stunning £30m-a-year after tax and he has now issued City with an ultimatum.
“In the next week we must find a solution about whether Yaya will prolong his contract with City or he will go to another club,” Seluk told The Sun.
“But if he leaves City it will surely not be for another English club.”
