Skiverton reverted back to assistant boss when Paul Sturrock was appointed manager in April, while Way is first-team coach.
Sturrock told the club’s official website: “I am really happy to have Terry and Darren as part of my team here at Huish Park.
“They have both been at the heart of Yeovil Town Football Club for years and have both seen the good and bad times.
“Terry’s job specification will now be to concentrate on the defensive aspect of the football team and Darren’s will be working with individual players and improving aspects of each player’s game. I will then be overseeing everything when it all comes together.
“I have found this method of working successful before and I think it is important to break down the units to get a better blend throughout the team.”
