York v Newport preview

York manager Russ Wilcox will select his starting line-up for the home game against Newport from an unchanged squad.

Wilcox has no new injury or suspension problems but will still be without central defender Dave Winfield, who sits out the final game of his three-match ban.

Strikers Emile Sinclair (thigh) and Wes Fletcher (hamstring) are not expected to feature in either of the Minstermen’s last two matches.

Forward Shaun Miller, on loan from Coventry, and midfielder Tom Platt are among those pushing for recalls.

Newport have suffered a pre-match injury blow with Robbie Willmott being ruled out for the last two games of the season.

The 24-year-old has been suffering with a foot injury and then a thigh problem and boss Jimmy Dack confirmed he will not play for the Exiles again in 2014/15.

But Dack does expect to have Lee Minshull (muscle injury) or Darren Jones (shoulder) back for the long trip north and his squad has no fresh injury worries.

Wales Under-19 international Aaron Collins, 17, has flown back to Wales after making his international debut against Germany and could be involved if Dack gives his youngsters the chance to impress with their promotion push all but over after a 3-2 loss to Dagenham.
