Ryan Kent: Being watched by Leeds

Leeds are planning to make Liverpool an offer this summer for up-and-coming winger Ryan Kent, according to a report.

The Sun on Sunday claims the Whites have been monitoring the winger’s progress during his loan spell at Barnsley this season and were impressed by his all-action display as the Tykes beat Garry Monk’s side 3-2 recently.

Kent scored Barnsley’s second goal in that success just a fortnight ago and it’s claimed his display convinced Monk to make the 20-year-old a serious target in the summer.

The report adds that while Kent is happy to stay at Oakwell for the remainder of the season, he will consider his options in the summer if he fails to get the assurances from Jurgen Klopp over his future.

And if Klopp does decide to cash in, the Elland Road outfit will reportedly head the queue for his services with a bid of £2.5million believed to be enough to secure his services.
