Zlatan & Pogba trying to lure Arsenal target to Man Utd – report

PSG star Blaise Matuidi is reportedly keen on a move to Manchester United this summer – and it’s claimed Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are both doing their bit to sell the club to him.

Matuidi was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer, with the club eventually securing the £89m capture of Pogba instead.

However, United remain keen on the France international, now 30, and Le Parisien claim the move could be resurrected this summer.

It’s claimed that PSG are now ready to let the midfielder leave the club after he lost his place in the starting line up to Adrien Rabiot.

The player is also out of contract in the summer of 2018 and PSG will look to offload him now should he show no indication he’s willing to sign a new deal.

The report claims Matuidi, who would also likely interest Arsenal should he be made available, would lean towards a move to United, where close friends Pogba and Ibrahimovic both play.

And the fact that his agent is Mino Raiola, who helped broker deals for Pogba, Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan last summer, could ensure United win the race for his signature.
