Defender Manny Smith has signed for League One side Notts County, putting pen to paper on a two-year deal at Meadow Lane.
Smith, 23, spent last year with fellow League One side Walsall, whom he left at the end of the season following the expiration of his contract.
"It's a big club, very ambitious and I just can't wait to get started," he told the Magpies' official website.
Smith admitted he was not short of offers but was impressed with the vision of County boss Keith Curle.
He added: "I had a few options, but the gaffer here showed great interest in me, I sat down and spoke to him a few times and he was very keen on me and very keen on taking the club forwards."
