Notts County boss Keith Curle has confirmed the Magpies have turned down offers for veteran striker Lee Hughes.
Curle revealed that League One rivals Oldham and League Two side Cheltenham have approached the Magpies with offers for the 36-year-old.
But Curle expects Hughes to be part of his squad for the forthcoming campaign.
"I spoke to Lee and two clubs have shown interest in him, Cheltenham and Oldham. Unfortunately, the deals that were proposed didn't suit Notts County," Curle told the Nottingham Post. "I fully expect him to be here next season.
"Lee is part of our strike force. I've heard the rumours, I'm not going to say I've not. But Lee Hughes won't leave the club unless it is right for him and the club."
Hughes, who signed a new deal with Notts last October, has scored 60 goals in 126 games since joining the club from Oldham in May 2009.
