Oldham manager Paul Dickov wants a big crowd for Monday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area final against Chesterfield.
Latics will be hoping to overturn a 2-1 deficit to reach the final against either Barnet or Swindon, and Dickov believes the fans can play a crucial part in aiding their cause.
Speaking to Oldham's official website, Dickov said: "The support we have had in recent away games at Liverpool, Huddersfield and twice at Chesterfield has been fantastic, and I know how much it spurs the boys on when they have a big crowd behind them.
"They mention it in the changing room and your support does make a difference.
"We have a great hard core of home supporters and if we could get a few more along on Monday night it would be even better.
"That is the main reason why we want to reward them with a trip to Wembley."
