Paul Dickov struggled to take any positives from Oldham's performance despite Robbie Simpson's late penalty securing a point.

Grant Basey missed a spot-kick at 2-1 six minutes from time for Wycombe, only for Simpson to bag one of his own after he was felled by Marvin McCoy in the 90th minute.

Prior to the late penalty drama, Wycombe goals from Joel Grant and Stuart Beavon looked to have bagged them all three points after Filipe Morais' opener for Oldham.

"If you look at the clock at 88-89 minutes and see we're 2-1 down, you would think we would be delighted to take a point," he said. "But I'm a little bit disappointed because in the first half-hour when we were 1-0 up, we could have gone two or three up.

"We want another three points next Saturday, and another three Saturday after that, and the Saturday after that. We're trying to keep the boys positive and keep them going right to the very end, and they've done that.

"There have been questions asked of them recently, and rightly so. But this was a long trip, and to score the equaliser in the last minute. Everybody's buzzing in the changing room at the minute, but I don't think we should be, I think we should be better than that."
