Regional Paper Talk: Spurs eye Pjanic
Tottenham are being linked with a move for Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic, while West Ham's interest in Wolves winger Matt Jarvis looks over.
- West Ham are poised to complete the transfer of winger Razak Boukari from French club Rennes. The impending arrival of 25-year-old Boukari is expected to signal the end of the Hammers' interest in Wolves winger Matt Jarvis.
- Tottenham plan to move for Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic before the transfer window closes next week, according to sources close to the Serie A club.
- Rio Ferdinand is set for an extended period on the sidelines after picking up a training ground injury.
- Liverpool have received an approach from Bolton Wanderers to sign Jay Spearing on a season-long loan.
- Gary McAllister believes Liverpool will suffer from their lack of a "natural goalscorer" this season.
