Peterborough striker Tyrone Barnett has been named in the PFA Team of the Year for League Two.

Barnett has been selected for the elite XI for his exploits at Crawley during the first half of the season.

The 26-year-old scored 15 goals for the Red Devils to help put them firmly in contention for promotion in their maiden Football League campaign before joining Peterborough on loan in February.

Barnett has scored four goals in 12 appearances for Posh, including a last-minute equaliser on his debut in a 1-1 draw at Doncaster on February 25.

He will complete a permanent move to London Road in the summer in a deal worth in excess of £1million.
