Argentinian Andres Gurrieri has joined Plymouth Argyle on a one-year deal, becoming the club's first ever South American player.
The 23-year-old, who has featured in the Pilgrims' previous two friendlies, spent last summer on trial at Home Park, but the club's administration meant they were unable to offer him a contract and he joined League Two side Burton instead.
"It's taken a year to arrive here, and I am very, very happy to be part of this team," he told the club's official website.
"Last season, for the lads, was a bit difficult and I think they want to change things this season. To be a part of that, to try to do something for the gaffer and for the team, is going to be great for me.
"I am so happy about that."
