Birmingham manager Chris Hughton is not expecting Portsmouth's financial woes to distract them when the sides meet on Tuesday night.
Pompey have recently had their bank account frozen, meaning players and staff are yet to receive their wages for January. But Hughton thinks it will be business as usual for Michael Appleton's charges.
"I don't think it will affect them one little bit," Hughton told the Birmingham Mail.
"You certainly didn't see an example of that in their last game where it was a fabulous performance from them and a performance that was good enough for them to win quite comfortably."
Hughton is no stranger to working under financial constraints, as he is this season, and he admires the way Appleton has gone about his new role.
"I'm sure he'll be enjoying what he's having to work with on the training pitch and gelling all of that into a team that can get results and I think he's done a super job there," he added.
