Portsmouth captain Liam Lawrence has revealed the club's current off-field plight does affect the dressing room at Fratton Park.
Lawrence, currently sidelined with the recurrence of a calf injury, and the rest of his team-mates have not been paid since December due to cash-strapped Pompey's financial meltdown.
Portsmouth entered administration for a second time in two years last Friday, resulting in an immediate 10-point deduction which has subsequently plunged the south-coast outfit into the Championship's bottom three.
Lawrence told BBC South Today: "It does affect the players, with people not getting paid. It is hard and you are not human if you don't feel the things going on around you."
