Team news ahead of Wednesday night's Premier League clash between Chelsea and Reading at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will still be without Marko Marin for the first home game of the season against the Royals.

Summer signing Marin's hamstring injury is expected to sideline him until the international break.

Ramires has recovered from the illness that kept him out of Sunday's opening win at Wigan and could come in for Ryan Bertrand, with Eden Hazard pushing further forward.

Reading midfielder Jem Karacan will miss the game against the Blues after failing to recover from a leg injury.

Striker Jason Roberts misses out through suspension and Jimmy Kebe is also unavailable due to a hamstring problem.

New goalkeeper Stuart Taylor is available but is unlikely to replace Adam Federeci, despite the Royals number one making a howler in the 1-1 draw with Stoke.

Garath McCleary is pushing for a start after his superb cameo appearance against the Potters.

Chelsea (probable): Cech, Ivanovic, Terry, Luiz, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Hazard, Torres.

Reading (probable): Federici, Gunter, Gorkss, Pearce, Harte, McAnuff, Guthrie, Leigertwood, Robson-Kanu, McCleary, Pogrebnyak.
