Lucas Leiva is relishing Liverpool's clash with Manchester United as the unbeaten Reds aim to build on their good start to the campaign.
Brendan Rodgers' side have posted successive 1-0 Premier League victories over Stoke and Aston Villa to sit second in the early table, before they beat Notts County 4-2 after extra time in the Capital One Cup in midweek.
Next up is the mouth-watering clash with the Red Devils and Lucas is looking forward to being involved in such a big occasion.
He told Globo Esporte: "The games against Manchester United are always very exciting for those that play and for the fans.
"I am sure the stadium will be packed, as in all games, and we will have full support from our fans.
"We have had a good start in the league, with two wins and we want to keep this form."
The Brazilian is pleased to have represented Liverpool for the past six years and hopes to spend a lot longer there.
He added: "Every game wearing Liverpool's shirt is like a dream. I have wanted to play in Europe and I got this opportunity in a place where they like me a lot and where I want to remain for a long time.
"I am completing six years here and I want to thank the club and the fans. I had some difficult moments but far more happy ones than sad ones.
"No doubt, this date is very special to me."
