Preston have confirmed the departure of midfielder Adam Barton to Coventry for an undisclosed fee.
The Republic of Ireland international has signed a three-year-deal with the Sky Blues.
Chairman Peter Risdale told the Lancashire Evening Post: "Adam has gone to Coventry. At the moment that is the only definitive movement out of the club."
The 21-year-old had made 60 appearances for Preston since making his debut in 2010 against Scunthorpe.
Barton had been sidelined since February after suffering a broken leg against in a goalless draw with Walsall, but has a full pre-season under his belt.
