Shrewsbury's Jon Taylor will again look to start a three-match suspension.

The winger was due to begin his punishment in Tuesday's clash against Port Vale following his dismissal in last weekend's victory at Morecambe.

But with the match abandoned in the second half due to an electrical fire at the Greenhous Meadow, it will not count towards Taylor's tally and he will now start his ban against the Shots.

With the electrical issue now resolved, Shrews will be looking to get back on track on home soil and make up for the disappointment of slipping to fourth place having been in line to move up to second thanks to James Collins' goal before the fire started.

Aaron Wildig was a somewhat surprising replacement for Taylor to make his first appearance since December.

With no new injury or suspension problems, manager Graham Turner is likely to name an unchanged XI having seen his side put in against Vale what he described as arguably their best performance during his two years in charge at the club.

Aldershot are not expected to have any new injury or suspension problems.

The Shots have given themselves an outside chance of a play-off place thanks to three successive 1-0 wins and nine victories in their last 12 games, moving them to within nine points of the top seven with a game in hand.

They face a tough task replicating that success at the Greenhous Meadow, where Shrewsbury remain unbeaten this season, although the recent triumph at promotion-chasing Southend provides cause for optimism.

Manager Dean Holdsworth made just the one change for Tuesday's win over Bristol Rovers, Guy Madjo coming in for Josh Payne in attack, and the latter will be pushing to start this weekend along with the likes of Michael Doughty and Wilko Risser.

Ross Worner (back), Alex Rodman (pulmonary embolism) and Michael Rankine (leg) have each been ruled out for the rest of the season.
