Everton v West Brom preview

Friday 30-March-2012 14:18

Everton are likely to be without midfielders Jack Rodwell, Seamus Coleman and Royston Drenthe.

Rodwell (hamstring) and Coleman (thigh) have missed four and three matches respectively, while Drenthe (compassionate leave) has sat out the last two games after being given extended leave.

On-loan midfielder Steven Pienaar returns after being ineligible for the midweek FA Cup replay victory at Sunderland.

West Brom will be without injured midfielder James Morrison.

Morrison is likely to be missing for the remainder of the season after suffering knee ligament damage during last weekend's home reversal against Newcastle.

Paul Scharner and Graham Dorrans will be in contention to replace the Scotland international if head coach Roy Hodgson perseveres with a five-man midfield.

Midfielder Zoltan Gera (knee) and right-back Steven Reid (foot) remain long-term absentees.
