The club say they are facing possible disciplinary action from the Football Association after away supporters spilled onto the playing surface at Carlisle last weekend to celebrate securing promotion back to the Championship.
As a result, Addicks chiefs have appealed for fans to remain in their seats even if they go on to secure the League One tilte.
Head of operations Mick Everett told the club website: "As a result of what happened at Carlisle, when fans ran onto the pitch to celebrate and congratulate the players, we have been asked to explain what happened by the FA.
"The authorities have also asked us to identify all those supporters who came onto the pitch, which we are declining to do because we don't believe it is appropriate.
"The mood after the game was one of euphoria and celebration, there was no hint of trouble. But the club has a duty to stress that it is an offence to come onto the pitch, and anyone who does so faces a banning order and potential further action."
