Oxford v Rotherham preview

Peter Leven could be welcomed back into Oxford's matchday squad.

The midfielder has missed two weeks of action with a shoulder problem but returned to training this week and the U's will offer him a late fitness test to determine his eligibility to face the Millers.

Top scorer James Constable will complete the final game of a three-match suspension for his red card in the derby clash with Swindon.

He will be joined on the sidelines by Damian Batt who serves a one-match ban for his dismissal in the 2-1 defeat to Bradford.

Tom Craddock (knee), fellow striker Jon-Paul Pittman (hamstring) and winger Alfie Potter (ankle) are all out as is defender Tony Capaldi who has suffered from a multitude of injuries since arriving in the summer.

Meanwhile, Rotherham have no new injury concerns. The Millers' play-off hopes suffered another dent after Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat by Torquay left them five points adrift of the seventh-placed U's with 10 games to go.

Veteran defender Richard Naylor is still missing as he battles a knee problem that has kept him out of recent games and is a couple of weeks away from a return to training.

New arrival Sam Hoskins will be in the squad following his loan move from Southampton, which runs until the end of the season, but the striker is unlikely to displace Lewis Grabban or Alex Revell in attack.

Scott may want to change things up elsewhere in his side, with just one win from their last seven games, and Ryan Cresswell and Danny Schofield will be hoping to earn starts.
